He is God

My God is the God of my present,

Of my first day and my last,
He is the God of my hill-top
The God of my valley low,
He is my God when I’m running
Or when my feet are slow,
He is the God of my sunshine,
He is the God of my rain,
He is the God of my laughter,
And He is the God of my pain,
He is the God of my riches
And He is the God if my loss,
He is my God as I’m marching
Or staggering ‘neath my cross,
God is the God of all ages,
He has no beginning, nor end,
My God loves me forever,
My God, my Lord, my Friend
