If your last thought was your final thought
Would that be alright?
Shouted from the mountaintop
In noon-times sunshine bright
And if the last words you uttered
Were your last words ever spoken
Would it be a good and kindly
Parting farewell token
If the last deed rendered
By these, your earthly hands
Was the last deed surrendered
To times vast shifting sands
And if someone traced
Your last mile you tread
Could they follow your steps
Or would you blush deep red?
Would it be alright with you?
Would it be all okay
To meet with God beyond the blue
On that great Judgment Day?

There is nothing concealed
that will not be disclosed,
or hidden that will not be made known.
What you have said in the dark
will be heard in the daylight,
and what you have whispered
in the ear in the inner rooms
will be proclaimed from the roofs.
Luke 12:2-3
