Hope is not Dead

It shines in the eyes of pansies and children
It smiles from the cloud that drifts over-head
It whispers in showers that fall from the heavens
Oh, be not dismayed for hope is not dead

It is not dead in the flowers of autumn
Nor at the graves of sorrow and dread
The seed that is buried someday will re-open
Into a new life, oh hope is not dead

It lives in the words of age and of wisdom
Springs from a fountain of crimson red
It rests on the shores of another Kingdom
Oh be not dismayed for hope is not dead

I love pansies and children...
they both speak to me of hope......
I planted some today...pansies, that is:)
