A riveting whisper of coral
Breathes on the horizon
Beneath a bank of pewter cloud
Which suddenly are blazing
In flames of bright magenta
As His breath softly expands
Into a shout of glory
Melting ‘cross a slumbering land
The silken robes of midnight
Garbed in purple-blue
Cannot resist the morning light
In ever-changing hue
As heaven’s hand of mercy
A sign of His compassion
Brushed across the wakening skies

Because of the Lord’s great love
We are not consumed,
For His compassions never fail.
They are new every morning.
Great is Your faithfulness. Lam.3:22-23
A very inadequate attempt at penning
The spectacular scene unfolding
Outside my window!!!....
and a VERY inadequate picture!!!
My camera couldn't pick up the
radiant and distinct bands of color!!!
