On Trusting

It’s so easy to trust in Your power, God
If ‘yes’ is the reply You bestow
But when we pray teach us to trust
Even if the answer is ‘no’

Singing your praises comes naturally
As blessing pours into our hand,
Teach us to sing just as gratefully
When Your way we do not understand
