In Everyday Things.......

In the everyday things of life
Oh God, that’s where you are
Not in moments far and few
Nor do You reach from a star
But You indwell us, oh Father
As we cry ‘I believe’
We have Your faithful promise
That you will never leave

In the everyday things of life
You comfort, strengthen, guide
And help us see beyond ourselves
Our sinfulness and pride
You empower from within
Teaching us how to live
And should we stumble yet again
Oh Father, You forgive

In the everyday things of life
You reveal Your love
If we should try to gain it
We could never do enough
But as we see its measure
Heal, encourage and forgive
Humbly, we’re reminded
Of the Grace by which we live
