Who is this One we worship
Who sits upon a throne?
And looks upon the sons of men
Yet loves them as His own
Who is this One we bow before
And raise our earnest plea
Who is this One that we adore
On humble bended knee?
He is Three yet He is One
Father, Holy Spirit, Son
Who hears the cry of sinners
Though He has known no sin?
Who is mans Great Deliverer?
Our Prince of peace within
Who opens up our blinded eyes?
And gives us eyes to see
Beyond a tempters cold disguise
And man’s futility
He is Three yet He is One
Father, Holy Spirit, Son
Who gives us hope and purpose?
Though constantly we fail
Who lovingly forgives us
Through the imprint of a nail?
Who knows our deepest sorrow?
Who hears our faintest cry?
As changeless in tomorrow
As in ancient days gone by?
He is Three yet He is One
Father, Holy Spirit, Son
He, who spoke and it was done
As earth and heaven replied
He, who offered His own Son
At Calvary, crucified
He, who poured out perfect love
Our sin-stains to erase
Resides within us and above
In everlasting grace
He is Three yet He is One
Father, Holy Spirit, Son
