Lord, I don’t know if I can carry
This cross You’ve given me
It seems so very heavy
And I’m so very wee
I struggle ‘neath its burden
Stagger ‘neath its load
I’m weary, heavy-laden
Along life’s lonesome road
Through the dark and misty shadows
I hear a gentle plea
Come, all you heavy-laden
Come, come unto Me
My yoke will be so easy
My burden, it is light
For I will walk beside you
In the darkest hour of night
Come bring me all your hurting
And bring me all your woe
I’ll take each disappointment
And I’ll never let you go
For I will never leave you
Come and hold My hand
I know, you cannot do it
But precious child, I can
All Rights Reserved
Come to Me, all you
who are weary and burdened,
and I will give you rest. Matt.11:28
